Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville left viewers in stitches with their lackluster response to Jessica Shears and Dom Lever's wedding on Wednesday.

Speaking on This Morning, the pair brought up their former Love Island co-stars, who tied the knot in a playful live ceremony on Good Morning Britain earlier that day.

Proving that the couples are no longer best friends, Marcel left viewers in stitches with his deadpan response to the ceremony.

Low-key response: Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville left viewers in stitches with their lackluster response to Jessica Shears and Dom Lever's wedding on Wednesday

Asked if he planned on tying the knot with Gabby anytime soon, the Blazin' Squad star looked confused as he asked 'I believe one of other couples got married today?'

Looking disinterested, he continued: 'Wasn’t it er…. Jess and Dom?' As, Gabby jumped in to quip: 'Now we need a different date!'

Meanwhile, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford seemed to be out of the loop of the days events, with Eamonn mixing up the reality stars for a Gogglebox couple and exclaiming: 'Steph and Dom [Parker]?!'

Taking to Twitter after the exchange, amused viewers posted: 'Gabby and marcel throwing shade at jess and Dom #ThisMorning'; 'Got a feeling that Marcel would’ve proposed to Gabby today on #thismorning if Dom and Jess hadn’t done their pathetic wedding on #GMB'; 'Eamon has me howling ‘Steph and dom got married today who?!’ Phahaha #ThisMorning'.

To have and to mug off: The couple's appearance on the show came just hours after Jess and Dom tied the knot during a Valentine's Day themed Good Morning Britain on Wednesday

Hilarious: Proving that the couples are no longer best friends, Marcel left viewers in stitches with his deadpan response to the ceremony

Quick to move on from the subject, the pair also discussed their desire to keep parts of their romance out of the spotlight.

Gabby explained: 'In the villa you don’t have any social media so you get to know each other so well and that communication.

'Being in the public eye we want to keep our private life private.'

The couple's appearance on the show came just hours after Jess and Dom tied the knot during a Valentine's Day themed Good Morning Britain on Wednesday.

The couple stripped down to minimal clothing as they entered into a playful ceremony with presenter Richard Arnold, who had been ordained for the occasion

Jess was accused of being intimate with 'Muggy Mike' Thalassitis after she left Love Island and Dom remained on the show, and Jess, 23, made a playful reference to the handsome chap when she 'tied the knot' with Dom, 26.

Keeping mum: Gabby explained: 'In the villa you don’t have any social media so you get to know each other so well. Being in the public eye we want to keep our private life private.'

Cute couple: During their appearance on the show Gabby and Marcel were treated to a romantic meal together served by Eamonn

Jess wore a white bikini for the occasion, while her man went shirtless, reminding the viewers of how they looked on the TV show that made them famous.

Jess then said her vows, which made reference to Muggy Mike after she was accused of being intimate with him behind Dom's back when she left the villa.

She said: 'I will not pie you off, even if Muggy Mike comes along.'

Wedded bliss: Earlier in the day, Jess and Dom stripped down to minimal clothing as they entered into a playful ceremony with presenter Richard Arnold, who had been ordained

Mike implied that something did happen when he and Jess met up after the show, although it's something she has denied.

Jess and Dom, much like Gabby and Marcel, have stood the test of time despite coming fourth on the hit ITV2 summer smash show, outlasting winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies, who recently split.

The pair have just spent their first Christmas as a couple, and seemed more loved-up than ever.

Cute couple: Gabby and Marcel cosied up to one another as they posed for pictures whilst leaving studio arm in arm with one another

All-smiles: The pair beamed broadly as they cuddled up to one another
